Michelle Clark Team Annual Sock Collection Exceeds 10,000, Warming Hearts and Feet in the Wilmington Community

Intracoastal Realty proudly announces that the Michelle Clark Team has achieved a significant milestone by collecting and distributing over 10,000 pairs of new socks in the Wilmington area. The completion of their third seasonal sock collection has brought smiles and warmth to the feet of many children and adults during the colder months.

The Michelle Clark Team’s philanthropic efforts have directly impacted the unhoused population, school-aged children, and adults in need throughout the Wilmington community. Socks were distributed to school teachers for Pre-K and school-aged children and provided to male and female adults through various New Hanover County organizations. Additionally, infants and toddlers in temporary shelters have benefitted from this heartwarming initiative. Some collected socks have also been utilized as holiday gifts by parents seeking assistance with providing gifts to their children.

Recipients of the sock collection include esteemed organizations, schools, and outreach groups dedicated to assisting individuals living on the streets and in homeless camps. Notable beneficiaries include the Harrelson Center, Teacher’s Fund, Coastal Horizons Center, St. Jude’s MCC Outreach Program, Good Shephard Center, and others.

To facilitate the collection, strategically placed boxes were stationed in local retail businesses, neighborhoods, and Intracoastal Realty offices. Michelle Clark-Bradley and her top producing team initiated this annual sock collection in November 2021 as a heartfelt way to give back to the community.
